Millcreek is mostly 1950s and 60s ramblers and split-levels from East Millcreek up through Canyon Rim and Mount Olympus, and those houses are being remodeled hard. A gutted mid-century kitchen and bath produces plaster or early drywall, old cabinetry, tile on mortar beds, and cast iron, which is heavier than the same job in a 1990s house. Expect a full 20-yard and a load that runs near the 2 included tons. We'll talk weight with you up front so the invoice matches the quote.
Millcreek borders Holladay, and our office on Highland Drive is minutes from most of it. Weekday orders placed before noon are usually in the driveway that afternoon, and a swap called in before noon happens the same day. Full bins are taken to a local landfill or recycling center and billed by the scale ticket. Our drivers know the bench streets in Canyon Rim and Mount Olympus and which driveways need a specific approach, because we've delivered on most of them.
Millcreek has a lot of long-time owners, and estate cleanouts are steady work here: a 20-yard or two of furniture, boxes, and decades of garage contents. Yards on the bench produce rock and dirt from re-grades, which go in the 7-yard box at a flat rate.
Driveways in Canyon Rim and Mount Olympus can be steep or curved; send a photo when you book and we'll confirm the truck can set and retrieve the bin safely. East Millcreek driveways are flatter and wider. Driveway placement needs no permit anywhere in Millcreek. Street placement requires permission from the city, and on the narrow bench streets it usually isn't practical. We bring boards for both rails when needed.

Most customers put the bin in the driveway, which needs no permit. Street placement usually requires a right-of-way permit from Millcreek; call us before booking and we'll walk you through it.

The 20-yard includes 2 tons; anything over is $55 per ton, billed from the landfill scale ticket. The 7-yard dirt and concrete box is a flat rate with no weight overage.
Hazardous materials (paint, fuel, chemicals, asbestos), tires, batteries, electronics, and medical waste. Dirt, concrete, brick and stone can't go in the 20-yard; they go in the 7-yard box. Mattresses and box springs: $20 each.
We bring heavy-duty boards and use them when needed to help spread the weight, at no extra charge. It's standard practice, not a guarantee against damage, so tell us about your driveway when you book.
