Murray is a few miles from our Holladay office, so it's one of our fastest cities for delivery and pickup. Weekday morning orders are usually in the driveway that afternoon, and swaps happen the same day. Full bins are taken to a local landfill or recycling center and billed by the scale ticket.
Central Murray around Murray Park and the historic downtown has homes from the 1920s through the 1960s, and remodels there produce plaster, old framing, and heavier debris than a newer house. Fashion Place and the east side are 1960s and 70s ramblers on decent lots. Murray also has a lot of rental housing and small apartment buildings, and property managers use us for turnover cleanouts where the bin needs to arrive in the morning and leave that night. Net 30 accounts are available.
Most Murray driveways are wide enough for a 20-yard, and driveway placement needs no permit. We set the bin with boards under both rails when needed and keep it clear of the garage door so you can still get a car out. Street placement requires city permission, and the older narrow streets near State Street and the historic downtown aren't great for it because there's no room to pass. Tell us the address when you book and we'll say whether the driveway will work or whether you'll need to talk to the city first.
Murray roofers stage bins with us the afternoon before tear-off so the crew starts at 7 a.m. with a container already in place. A single-layer tear-off on a Murray rambler fits in one 20-yard; two layers on a two-story usually needs a mid-job swap, which we'll schedule up front. On the yard side, Murray lots are modest and sod removal typically runs one or two 7-yard boxes. Small concrete jobs, a patio or a walkway, go in the same box at the flat rate.

The 20-yard includes 2 tons; anything over is $55 per ton, billed from the landfill scale ticket. The 7-yard dirt and concrete box is a flat rate with no weight overage.
Hazardous materials (paint, fuel, chemicals, asbestos), tires, batteries, electronics, and medical waste. Dirt, concrete, brick and stone can't go in the 20-yard; they go in the 7-yard box. Mattresses and box springs: $20 each.
We bring heavy-duty boards and use them when needed to help spread the weight, at no extra charge. It's standard practice, not a guarantee against damage, so tell us about your driveway when you book.
